From 2014 until 2019, Nate Lights was an online gallery for Mid Century Modern lighting design founded by Nathan de Beuckeleer and Ben Van den Berghe. The webstore offered a selection of authentic pieces dating from 1940 to 1980, as well as new lighting designs by contemporary visual artists.
In 2016 the exhibition Reflector at Plus One in Antwerp showcased a number of limited artist editions. They were created in close collaboration with Nate Lights by the following artists: Almudena Lobera, Dirk Zoete, Edi Danartono, Erika Hock, G. Leddington, Geert Goiris, Guillaume Bijl, Helene Claes, Joris Van de Moortel, Koen Sels, Nicolas Pelzer, Oscar Hugal, Tom Volkaert and Wesley Meuris.
“Light is not so much something that reveals, as it is itself the revelation.”
– James Turrell
We want to thank all fellow light-enthusiasts and customers, artists that participated in making those beautiful light sculptures and last but not least, our loving family. At Møbelfabrik you can still find some of our very last vintage pieces. Now let's get blinded by the lights.
